Lauren Marshall advises lenders and borrowers on complex cross-border financing transactions, with a focus on global transportation finance, including ship finance and aviation finance.

She works with financial institutions, shipping companies and international corporations to structure, document and execute transactions that support the acquisition, financing and operation of assets across multiple jurisdictions.

Lauren brings a practical, solutions-driven approach to each matter and manages the full transaction lifecycle. Her experience includes coordinating multi-jurisdictional transactions, advising on borrower and lender-side requirements, and ensuring compliance with local law considerations, having previously worked as an off-shore lawyer. She regularly works with financial institutions, international counsels, ship registries and insurers to align documentation, security packages and delivery timelines across jurisdictions.

Lauren also supports transactions involving newbuild and existing vessels, advising on the creation, release and enforcement of security interests, delivery documentation, drawdowns, insurance requirements and registration matters.

Lauren complements her finance work with previous experience in litigation and arbitration, assisting with trial preparation, witness evidence and strategic case development. She also supports clients on related corporate and advisory matters, including corporate governance requirements linked to financing transactions.
