Kayla Mistretta advises financial institutions, asset managers, funds and transportation industry clients on aviation, maritime and broader global transportation finance transactions.

As a member of the GTF team, her practice focuses on structuring and executing secured and unsecured financings for aircraft, vessels and other high-value assets across complex, multi-jurisdictional frameworks.

Kayla drafts and negotiates credit agreements, note purchase agreements, security and pledge agreements, and other core transaction documentation for revolving credit facilities, warehouse financings, mortgage financings, securitizations and EETCs. She manages transactions from term sheet through closing, aligning lenders, borrowers and investors on structure, documentation and execution. Her experience includes large-scale financings exceeding $2 billion, as well as portfolio transactions involving operating lessors, finance companies and institutional investors.

She also advises on regulatory compliance and disclosure matters, including SEC reporting requirements, in connection with financing transactions. Kayla’s work reflects a strong understanding of asset-backed structures, collateral packages and risk allocation in transportation finance, supporting clients in efficiently deploying and financing aviation and maritime assets in global markets.
