Erin Weber represents public and private companies in a broad range of employee benefits, executive compensation and ERISA matters.

Erin's practice focuses on helping employers, plan fiduciaries and corporate leadership teams navigate complex benefits-related issues while supporting workforce, governance and transaction objectives.

Erin counsels clients on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit programs, fiduciary responsibilities and executive compensation arrangements. She regularly advises on the employee benefits and compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions, helping clients address integration, compliance and transaction-related issues. Erin also represents employers and fiduciary committees in negotiating recordkeeping, trustee, third-party administrator and other service-provider agreements and advises on the ERISA aspects of financing arrangements.

Additionally, Erin has extensive experience guiding clients through pension plan de-risking initiatives, including serving as lead counsel on annuity buyout transactions exceeding $1 billion. Her in-house leadership experience as head of total rewards and ERISA counsel for a global company provides practical insight into the operational, financial and human capital considerations that shape employment and benefits decisions.

Erin is also a registered nurse. Prior to attending law school, she worked in the cardiac telemetry unit of a premier Chicago-area hospital.
