As an Investment Services associate, Cody Lipke focuses his practice on structuring and launching new regulated products, including business development companies (BDCs), investment companies and operating companies focused on private credit, infrastructure secondaries and other investment strategies.
Cody routinely advises on retail products such as non-traded and exchange-listed BDCs, interval funds, tender offer funds, mutual funds, ETFs and REITs, ensuring seamless execution of offerings and debt financing transactions. He also manages the full spectrum of legal operations including overseeing fund governance, investor relations and regulatory compliance, leveraging his deep knowledge of SEC, FINRA, and Blue Sky law rules to support regulatory interactions. He has hands-on leadership experience guiding legal teams through high-impact public merger transactions and driving the successful rollout of innovative fund offerings.
Additionally, Cody assists with fund mergers, reorganizations, co-investment transactions, IPOs and joint ventures. Clients value Cody’s ability to anticipate regulatory issues, streamline processes and drive successful deal closings that advance their business objectives.
